Farmland Protection Plan

 

The Charlton Town Board adopted the Farmland Protection Plan on February 8, 2010. The New New York State Department of Ag and Markets approved the plan on December 22, 2009, following previous approval by The Charlton Town Board and the County Ag and Farmland Protection Board. A public workshop to present the Draft Farmland Protection Plan was held on Wednesday April 29th, 7 PM, at the Charlton Freehold Presbyterian Church. Thank you to everyone that attended. If you missed the meeting, or just want a recap, the presentation is available by clicking here.* The plan was revised based largely on public input and has been sent on to the Charlton Town Board for approval.
