The Town of
Process - Public Workshops
The process is as important as the final product, the Westfield-Ripley Waterfront Opportunity Plan. Key to a successful process is public participation. To this end, three public workshops were held. The diagram below conceptually shows how the public workshops and the public input received at them informed the process and final products, including the final Opportunity Plan. As the project unfolded, it went from “big picture” thinking in the early stages (Public Workshop #1) to a more focused look at specific opportunities and locations within the study area (Public Workshop #2), to the presentation of the draft Opportunity Plan (Workshop #3). The workshops provided an organized and entertaining forum for meaningful public input and feedback at key points in the development of the Opportunity Plan. We were glad to see you there! Follow the individual workshop links for more information on each workshops, such as where and when they were held, as well as a summary of the results.
